North Richland Hills Class Descriptions
Cardio/Resistance:
This class is amazing for improving your endurance and using resistance to improve your muscle strength. We use a mix-up of cardio techniques so you feel super and never get bored.
Cardio Sculpt:
This class combines the benefits of weight training and cardiovascular exercise together for a full body workout that gets the hear pumping while toning the entire body.
Core & More:
This class blasts off with 30 minutes of intense cardio work combining kickboxing, plyometrics, and hi-low in a bootcamp format. Cardio exercises are followed by core conditioning work targeting abs, glutes, hips and lower back.
Definitions:
Get ready to be strong! This class is a combination of moderate cardio and intense strength training. A heavy emphasis is put on resistance and weight training.
Gentle Yoga:
Our yoga practice emphasizes the connection between the mind, body, and breath. While flowing from pose to pose you will develop strength, balance, and flexibility. We work to increase our body and breath awareness and let go of self-judgment. A final relaxation segment allows us to release stress.
Mat Pilates:
This class improves strength, flexibility, coordination, alignment, and balance. You will work on building core strength and enhancing the mind/body connection. This is a great way to strengthen the abdominals and lower back.
ICE:
(Interval Core Exercise) This class uses interval training with weights, balls, steps, bands, and moderate cardio to build core strength. Get a hot body with ICE!
Just Step:
This class is a wonderful workout on the Step that involves more choreography for the serious stepper. It is a great challenge for the brain and body.
PiYo™:
This class is a dynamic fusion of sports training, flexibility & dance training with a Yoga & Pilates influence. PiYo™ is for people who want to move, build strength & gain flexibility.
Interval Plus:
High intensity burst of cardio work followed by recovery periods and weight work to sculpt lean muscles.
SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength & Range of Motion:
Have fun & move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement & activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance.*
SilverSneakers® Yoga Stretch
will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility, balance & range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.*
*These senior classes offer chairs for seated and/or standing support.
Resolutions:
Let this class become your "familiar" place to be. We will keep the same choreography for one month. Once you learn the choreography, you become free to focus on improving your technique, form, and/or increasing your strength. Each month a new workout routine is taught.

Step & Sculpt:
This class is awesome with cardio and added weights. Get the cardio you need and have fun with step patterns, then take the weights out and get that definition you want to look supper.
Total Body Blast:
Get ready to burn calories. If you like weights combined with cardio, you'll love this class.
Zumba® & Zumba® Tone:
These classes use energetic Latin rhythms with easy-to-follow dance steps to create a dynamic and exciting workout! Zumba Tone uses weighted maraca-like toning sticks to add some sculpting and spice to your workout.
20/20/20:
60 minutes and your on your way to an awesome body. 20 minutes Cardio/ 20 minutes Strength/ 20 minutes Abs.
TurboKick®:
This is a combination of intense kickboxing, as well as, dance moves all perfectly choreographed to high energy and motivating music. This is a great cardiovascular challenge.

Just Abs:
Thirty minutes of focused abdominal work for a tight beautiful core.
